Jointly organized by the World Energy Council Austria and the OSCE, in co-operation with Ernst & Young and the Federation of Austrian Industries, the seventh edition of the Vienna Energy Security Dialogue will be dedicated to discussing how to foster Energy Security in the long run, taking stock of the various short-term challenges.

As major geopolitical developments unfold and the climate crisis accelerates, global energy systems face heightened risks. These challenges highlight the essential role of energy in the broader security landscape, underscoring the urgent need for resilient, efficient energy systems built with a focus on both security and sustainability.

The upcoming VESD will tackle these pressing issues, offering a platform to explore the intricacies of global energy security. Participants will gain critical insights and actionable strategies to navigate the evolving energy landscape. By fostering discussions on both the latest challenges and forward-looking solutions, the event will aim to support a secure and people-centered energy transition.

The morning sessions will provide a comprehensive overview of the current threats facing the energy sector, while the afternoon sessions will spotlight innovative strategies and future-focused approaches to address these challenges.
