Robert joined REEEP in 2019 as Senior Project Manager for off-grid energy finance. He is leading the Southern African Renewable Investment and Growth (SOARING) programme funded by the German International Climate Initiative (IKI). The programme seeks to advance access to sustainable financial instruments for off grid energy companies in Southern Africa and beyond.

Before joining REEEP, Robert was a co-founder and Managing Director of Mobisol Tanzania until 2015. He also headed Mobisol’s product development lab in East Africa. Most recently, Robert worked as a business development associate for Solarworx.

Robert holds a degree in Development Economics and Project Management from the University of Liverpool (UK).
