Germana is an independent consultant with over fifteen years of diverse experience as business journalist and policy analyst working for a variety of organisations on climate change, energy policy and international development.

In the past, she has worked as a senior campaigner at Friends of the Earth, with a leading role in The Big Ask campaign, which led to the establishment of the UK 2008 Climate Change Act. Previously she worked as climate and energy efficiency officer for the WWF European Policy Office in Brussels. She has experience in international development, and has recently worked as EU policy adviser for Bond, the membership organisation for UK development agencies.

Germana is also a freelance journalist and has published articles on energy on a variety of publications, including the Wall Street Journal Europe, BusinessGreen and Sun & Wind Energy Magazine. At REEEP she works with the Director General and other REEEP staff to carry out research and to support the organisation's fundraising strategy.
