The improved RETScreen Expert will be an indispensable tool for investors, project managers and decision makers at all levels seeking to get the most out of renewable energy investments. The RETScreen Expert software helps identify and analyze projects based on energy production and savings potential, identifies the best projects to be implemented at a given location, assesses financial risks and viability, and comprehensively tracks and verifies the actual performance of implemented projects, in turn feeding knowledge back into the system. CanmetENERGY projects that by 2022 RETScreen Expert will have over 1 million users, created over $100 billion in clean energy investments and saved 50 million metric tons of CO2 GHG emissions per year.
