During this event, the Private Financing Advisory Network (PFAN), an initiative which thus far has raised over US$ 1.3 billion in financing for climate and clean energy businesses in low- and middle-income countries, will present its new hosting structure under the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and REEEP.

The side event follows the official PFAN relaunch which takes place in conjunction with the Vienna Energy Forum on the 10th of May. It is organised by REEEP in collaboration with the International Center for Environmental Technology Transfer (ICETT).
PFAN will also report on its recent successes in mobilising private sector financing for climate action with minimal public funding (leveraging an average of US$ 80-100 of investment for every US$1 of funding), and discuss challenges and opportunities facing its efforts to scale up financing for low carbon and climate resilient projects.
Speakers: Mr. Michael Rantil (Chair; CTI PFAN Manager; t.b.c.), Mr. Peter Storey (PFAN Global Coordinator), Mr. Martin Hiller (Director General, REEEP)
