Innovate 4 Water is a matchmaking event and open forum for sustainable development, focusing on water and sanitation, entrepreneurship and sustainable investments.
The event is organised by Waterpreneurs in cooperation with WaterVent and the United Nations World Intellectual Property Organization’s 'WIPO GREEN: The Marketplace for Sustainable Technology'.
Innovate 4 Water will bring together a range of water and sanitation stakeholders, including entrepreneurs, investors, large and small companies, non-governmental organisations, UN agencies and incubators, to forge connections and accelerate their work towards achieving UN Sustainable Development Goal 6: ensuring access to water and sanitation for all.
The objectives of the event are to:
- Create visibility for entrepreneurs in the water sector in order to enable them to reach impact investors;
- Promote the transfer of innovative water technologies and innovative business models in emerging markets and developing countries;
- Facilitate connections to catalyse collaborations.
