We are pleased to invite you to join the Beyond the Grid Fund for Africa team for a series of stakeholder workshops to take place in Lusaka, Zambia, from 17 to 19 September.

Funded by Sweden, the Beyond the Grid Fund for Africa is a planned extension of the Beyond the Grid Fund for Zambia, which was launched in 2016 and which has helped four companies bring access to clean, affordable off-grid energy to over 700,000 people to date.
The new Beyond the Grid Fund for Africa, with an initial funding target of EUR 48 million, will build on this success with the aim to expand activities to Burkina Faso, Liberia and Mozambique, and to launch a second funding round in Zambia, to help private sector companies enter into or expand in the Zambian off-grid energy market. A team of experts is currently mapping the market and sectors in order to design this funding round, and would like your input. During three days of discussions, each with a different theme, we will gather feedback and ideas from stakeholders including representatives from the private sector and government agencies.
Spaces are limited - please click the link below to pre-register for one or more of the following workshop days:
- 17 September 2019: Mini-Grids
