We are pleased to invite you to join the Beyond the Grid Fund for Africa team for a private sector stakeholder workshop to take place at the Embassy of Sweden in Nairobi, Kenya on 8 November 2019 from 08:00 to 12:00.

Funded by Sweden, the Beyond the Grid Fund for Africa (BGFA) is a planned extension of the Beyond the Grid Fund for Zambia (BGFZ). BGFZ was launched in 2016 and has helped four companies bring access to clean, affordable off-grid energy to over 750,000 people to date.
The new BGFA, with an initial funding target of EUR 48 million, will build on this success with the aim to expand activities to Burkina Faso, Liberia and Mozambique, and to launch a second funding round in Zambia. A team of experts is currently mapping the market and sectors in order to design these funding rounds. If your company might be interested in expanding to or scaling up your off-grid energy solutions in any of the markets targeted by BGFA, we would like your input. At this workshop, we would like to inform you about the Beyond the Grid Fund approach and gather your feedback and ideas.
The Beyond the Grid Fund for Africa is funded by the Government of Sweden. It is managed by the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO) as Facility Manager and the implementation is led by the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP) as Programme Implementation Manager.

We hope to see you in Nairobi in November!
