REEEP’s partner CTI PFAN organized a two-day event for entrepreneurs they support in South Asia to improve entrepreneurs’ ability to present their business models to investors. Nine entrepreneurs took part in the event, all of whom are seeking investment into clean energy – renewable energy or energy efficiency technology – as a service provider themselves, or for improving the efficiency of their own production processes.

This month, REEEP took a significant step in expanding its network and enhancing its global impact by joining the Green Growth Knowledge Platform as a Knowledge Partner, and the Climate Technology Network as a recognized partner. With these moves, REEEP joins two of the most compelling and innovative new global partnership arrangements in the climate and development spheres.

Amid a veritable flood of new information on everything from ecological trends to genomic mutations released as part of Open Data movements around the world, practitioners are faced with both vast opportunities, as well as colossal challenges in compiling, updating, analyzing and sharing that information.
